Jesus L. Penabad, M.D., F.A.C.E.
Graduated from the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He completed his Internship and Residency programs at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and his Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Penabad has published his work on Pituitary Adenomas in the prestigious Journal of Clinical Endocrinology Medicine. He is a regular speaker on the topic of diabetes for physicians’ lectures in the Tampa Bay Area.
He's a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the American Diabetes Association, the Florida Endocrine Society, the Endocrine Society, Pasco Medical Society and the Pinellas County Medical Association, the FL Medical Association and Tampa Bay Latin American Medical Society.

Antoñio Piñero-Piloña, M.D., F.A.C.E.
Graduated from the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He completed his Internship and Residency programs at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Piñero-Piloña completed his Endocrinology Fellowship training at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. He is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the American Diabetes Association, the Endocrine Society and the Pasco County Medical Association.
Dr. Piñero-Piloña has done extensive research on the field of diabetes and has published his work in the recognized Diabetes Care Journal.

Ania E. Janicka, D.O.
A graduate of Hobart & William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York. She graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. Her Internship, Residency and Fellowship were completed at the Winthorp University Hospital in Mineola, New York. Dr. Janicka completed her Preceptorial in Osteoporosis at Columbia Universiy in New York City.
She is a member of American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American Osteopathic Association.
Board Certified in Obesity Medicine.

Anna Szafran-Swietlik, M.D.
A graduate of Medical University of Silesia, Poland. She completed her Internal Medicine and Residency programs at New York Methodist Hospital, Brooklyn, New York. Her Endocrinology fellowship was completed at the University of Florida, College of Medicine, Jacksonville, Florida.
She is a member of American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the Endocrine Society.
Board Certified in Obesity Medicine.

Monica Plazarte, D.O.
A graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Suwanee, Georgia. She completed her Internal Medicine and Residency programs at Carilion Medical Center, Roanoke, Virginia. Her Endocrinology fellowship was completed at the University of Florida, College of Medicine, Jacksonville, Florida.
She is a member of American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American Osteopathic Association.
